I was referred to Lanette's Kiddie Korner by a close friend who had so many positive things to say about both Lanette and her staff (she was so right and I should've started my daughter with Lanette earlier!). My daughter attended this day care for one year and the only reason we aren't continuing is that we moved out of ​ the country. Lanette runs a very professional establishment and her staff is wonderful! They are so patient, friendly, caring, encouraging, and nurturing. My 2 year old daughter learned sight words, colors & shapes, can count to 100, can spell her first and last name, and knows some spanish! She loved the craft projects, field trips, friendships with the other kids and thrived on Lanette's daily schedule. Lanette is consistent with her rules and she will happily communicate with you about your child daily. My only regret about leaving California is that we had to leave Lanette's Kiddie Korner and all the wonderful things she did for our daughter behind.

My son has been attending Lanette's Kiddie Korner for three years now. My two grand daughers have been attending for 2 and 1 years respectively. Lanette provides quality services all the way around. The kids are truly nutured and taught extensively. My son started Kindergarten tested well above excellent in his placement testing. Lanette's Kiddie Korner taught him all sight words, Spanish (provides a weekly Spanish Teacher), how to count to 100, how to write and say his ABCs, and how to read. My 22 month old grand daughter now knows how to count to 100. The environment is nuturing with a great ratio of helpers to children. My son will be with Lanette's Kiddie Korner until high School!!! I highly recommend this family day care center.

My daughter has attended Lanette's Kiddie Korner for seven years. I had interviewed two other family child care centers in the area before Lanette. When I met with her I knew right then that I would choose her to care for my child. Her home was neat and tidy (tidy as it can be running a childcare in your home). She was well organized, I received a file folder containing registration, curriculum, and food program information. She keeps a loving, encouraging and nurturing environment. Good manners and being kind to one another is reinforced. The schedule of daily activities keeps them busy and learning something at all times.
By 4 yrs old daughter could recite her ABC's, count to 100, spell her name and recognize it, knew primary colors and shapes. My daughter is now in 6th grade, when school is in session Ms Lanette picks her up from school. She also attends during the summer with weekly field trips and activities galore.
So yeah Lanettes' Kiddie Korner is not just your neighborhood babysitter, it's so much more.
